Starting with metal spinning in the early 1920s, C.B. Kaupp focused on consumer pieces when starting his business. As time passed and technology increased, Kaupp & Sons moved into aerospace high precision machining. Each generation has built on his legacy for quality, adding improvements and innovation throughout the facility.
With his initial success in spinning and hollow-mare metals on the consumer product side, C.B. Kaupp saw the opportunity to move into custom precision metal components. He began shifting in that direction for the future of the business.
Because hydroforming was a brand-new technology, Clement Kaupp himself worked the machines to train the other machinists. At the time, the Kaupp company was one of only two facilities in the United States offering the service to their clients.
Both Clem & Bill grew up working in the family business as apprentices under their father and grandfather. They continued the tradition of personalized service for each client and streamlined processes throughout the staff.
As technology improves, so does industrial manufacturing. With an expanding facility, we accommodate more tools and projects for our clients. Many facilities only have access to one type of machine, but we can work with you every step of the way. Building on our standard of customer service, we review designs with our team, so we become the only tool you need for your high precision machining.
